Hello, I am Jack and I have finally broken my DSLR virginity today by buying a Nikon D3100 after owning a Samsung bridge camera for 2 years.

Most definitely a noob and have been playing with the camera ever since the battery said "charged" and am looking forward to getting some cracking results!

Had a brief browse at this forum and it looks great, can't wait to get stuck in!

Good choice on your first DSLR, check out the Talk Equipment part of the forum and you'll learn a hell of alot about your camera! I went there when I got my Mk2 and I've found stuff that I've never thought possible!
