Been recommended to here from another forum. Currently got a Panasonic FZ28 bridge camera and considering getting my first DSLR

Looking to get a full kit (body+lens) but still wondering if I should get something new (A35, K-R, D3100 etc) or second hand (D80/D5000,XXXD etc).
