Not photographically - I took a camera but shot not one shot! Visited a classic car show as we do every year it's held (and I have done so since I was a kid since Grandpa always had interesting vehicles), although we missed last year for 2 reasons; 1- I was a little under the weather... and 2- the show was even more under the weather - it was cancelled due to torrential rain which caused a lot of damage to show stands and left the car park like the Somme!
Found a local specialist to do the servicing and fettling on hers (and maybe mine, although I think residual value may be better if I get it main dealer serviced), found a model of hers in the right(ish) colour (even if the model is a left hooker), found a reasonably priced leaper and knocked him down to £20 for it and also got a deal on a pair of leaper key fobs. Oh, got some nice fudge and had a plate of delicious noodles and chicken balls for lunch. Glorious sunshine and about 30 degrees - thank any gods for P20 and their new factor 30 spray!
Oddly, for the first time in many years, we didn't bump into anyone we know there. We usually see several people we know there but maybe they went yesterday in case the weather broke. Might get in free next year- there were several of cars like hers entered in the show. I'd be the first to admit that it's a stretch to call it a classic but it is certainly more so than many of the other tat that was being shown!
