Good day from Dorset

Hi from Dorset, I chose the name Dorset as the name Gary was taken so Dorset it shall be.

I am a 47 year old dad of two and I live in Bournemouth, Dorset. I am employed as a Train Driver for South West Trains and on my days off, when I`m not trying to finish a house extension, I like nothing better than to get out around Dorset and the New Forest with my trusty Canon EOS400D.

I have always loved photography (although not very good at it) from an early age using an Olympus Trip 35 for many many years. After a spell without a camera I bought a Canon S5 IS and then upgraded to an EOS400D my first SLR.

For processing I use Lightroom but I really am a novice with it so I`m hoping to pick up some tips and possibly some help from the good folk on this Forum. Hopefully I will be a regular poster and taking the plunge of posting my photographs for the critiques to take apart.
