Hi

Can anyone recommend me a good USB 3.0 card reader for SD?

Fanks

Andy :)

I have tried so many card readers without any luck, until i found the Lexar range. Touch wood, i have had no problems with the one i bought.

+1 on the Lexar. Reads anything and everything,

Lexar has been good so far - I had a Sandisk one that fell apart....

Lexar +1

Lexar or previous model Sandisk (think this might be USB 2 though) have worked perfectly for me and I'd certainly recommend either

I use a transcend USB 3.0 about £6 on Amazon, continues to work perfectly.

I'd like to offer a better solution than the Lexar USB3 Dual-Slot Reader I've been using for a few years (for SD/SDHC and CF cards) but I can't! Then again, until it packs in, I'm unlikely to play with any others. FWIW, I use the reader instead of the built in ones in all my machines that have USB3 ports.

I have a SanDisk and my daughter has a Lexar, both are fine although tend to use the card slot in the desk/laptop most of the time these days
