good buy??

welcome to 2011, just been on Amazon and ordered this, thought it was a very good deal but are they any good lol?

Price has just increased, only paid £15.12 lol

I quite like Scott's writing style, he makes sence most of the time. Should be a good set to learn with at a reasonable price.

I just bought this set too. I nearly threw up while reading the first chapter, because of the author's heavy-handed attempts at humour, but once you get past this, the books are very informative and interesting.

I like the set; bought them in order as they were released so don't have a nice box to hold them in though

I also keep an eye on him in D-Town TV; free podcasts which started as a Nikon promo but now are good for all DSLR users.

I've also got those books, but not in a nice boxed set There are some great tips to be had

Scott Kelby has a Marmite style of writing which you will either love or hate - I rather like but not everyone does.
