Hi all 
Thought it was about time I signed up on a photography forum as I picked up a DSLR a couple of weeks ago.
I'm now the happy owner of a Canon EOS 400D, which I'm now getting to grips with. I only have the 18-55mm kit lens at the moment, though I'll be looking for something with a bit more zoom in the future.
I'm a self confessed car geek/nut/addict so that's pretty much the purpose of the camera for me - hoping to take it to a few tracks and shows and try it out, as well as taking a few snaps of my own motor.
The camera has just had it's baptism of fire with a trip to the Nurburgring race track in Germany, where I managed a few shots I was very pleased with. I'll upload some later this evening
