Morning All
I have some gold that I would like to sell. (Its not Goldfinger amounts ) Could anybody give me any places they may have used or can recommend. I live in Essex.

not sure where you are in essex but the best place i have used a few times is falko's in grays near lakeside
they paid me 200-00 more than i was offered elsewhere and the prices are on there website
very nice to deal with as well

I have bought gold sovereigns from bullionbypost so i can offer a recommendation for them. Try them all though and see what they offer.

Wayne (Lepster74) is right. The form of the gold is very important and whilst the price of gold has risen substantially, if it is in jewelry form, you'll get a lower price for it. Most places buy it in and then sell it to smelters who will recycle it, so it is priced as scrap. If you've got bullion, then sell it to www.bullionbypost.co.uk or privately. Most other dealers will give you a pretty poor price.

Thanks for all the replies. Terry I live in Bulphan so not far. I have an I.D. bracelet, Sovereign ring, Twoother rings one with diamond chips and a couple of chains.( I am 50 years young now so I wore the I.D.bracelet and sovereign ring in my Del Boy, Rodney Trotter days. Just worked it out, enough to cover a tennis court 3 inches deep, not as much as i pictured...

Gold is pretty heavy, so you don't need a huge volume to reach the weight. I'd settle for just a ton of it, or even half a ton, though.............
