For space use? A commemorative edition? To match gold teeth? To be totally bling... init!!!

Is that yours or is that at a particular Nikon dealer in Westminster?.... :)

I've got the black version of the FA :)

The gold one was a limited run to mark the winning of some accolade for the matrix metering system

Don't see the new TV show "pimp my camera" taking off myself:)

They had a gold Nikon FA for sale in Campkins, Cambridge a few weeks ago - £10k as I recall.

:thumbs:There is a gold nikon on display in the Fox Talbot museum at Lacock Abbey.

Or you can just hang an sign around your neck saying "EVERYONE IVE GOT LOADS OF MONEY, PLEASE COME AND MUG ME"

I could appreciate it, if it was an ultra rare collectors item, made by the manufacturer, and did something special like made tea or did the hoovering as well... but in any practical sense, it's a total waste of time/money. For the money that sort of things costs, I'd rather go to some amazing place(s) and get the most out of the good cameras I have already. Oh but wait! I forgot! Gold plating... makes it take better photos, right? :naughty:
