Going to try and learn HDR

I have a few days off work and have decided to try and learn HDR. Can I just use the Merge to HDR button in CS3 or should I be looking at something else?

I would strongly recommend Photomatix, I find it does the job a lot better than photoshop!

A lot of people use the CS3 method with great success.
I use Photomatix Pro or Artizen - Photomatix Pro being my preferred choice.
You can try CS3 then download a trial version of Photomatix Pro and see what you prefer.

I argree, photoshop will do the job but is much more tricky to use and get a good result, photomatix on the other hand is easier to use and IMHO does a far better job.
