Going to Berlin

Hello,
I'm off to Berlin with 12 students this week. I'm wondering if it is worth while taking my DSLR... I won't get much freedom for exploring around, nor much time but I might take a wide angle lens and try some architecture/street photos. Has anyone been there? Do you think it is worth it ?

I'm off there on Friday. Chances are, being in a stag party, there's won't be many photos taken! At least none that can be made public!!

I have been and i took my camera it was sometime agao and ii would say yes take your camera. there is an awful lot of things to take pictures of. it is a very full City

Berlin is one of my all time favourite cities. You will love it. There are lots of interesting things happening just on the streets so plenty of good shots to be had. How about a smaller camera and try getting some candid street shots as you walk around?
