Going Grey...

Your thoughts on a quick question...

In real world terms, does it matter much, buying a grey import. I know about the usual warranty difference between lenses and cameras, but I am looking at a compact (Panasonic LX5).

I can save about 12% on Kerso's price - and I've always brought from him in the past as he's VERY competitive.

Any concerns I should be aware of, going grey?

I bought a D7000 from Hdew a couple of months ago without any problems. They provide their own 'warranty' with certain camera repair places. At the end of the day it's a Nikon product made in the same place that UK sourced Nikon products are. I would definitely use them again and find that in many cases their prices for lenses are only slightly more than secondhand on here.
