Godox-like flash with Speedlites?

I'm looking for a more powerful outdoor flash. I current use a 600EX-RT and the YN600EX-RT.

I've seen a few people recommend a Godox battery-pack powered flash and have a few questions:

1) What would people recommend as a general purpose outdoor flash? Are all the godox-like flashes effectively the same but with different brand names or is there a best one to get?

2) Can these communicate with the Canon flashes? I assume they can't use the proprietary canon wireless system?

Is there anything similar that can communicate? I've seen the Lencarta stuff (Atoms?) mentioned before but assume it's the same that they can't use the canon system.
 
i use the godox Xenergizer and its the best bit of lighting equipment i own. I also have the canon 600 RT EX and 2 YN600s aswe as the sender unit, and its great for most things, but on a bright sunny day, the godox wipes the floor with it. just got to remember there is no high speed sync
 
I have just sold a Godox AD360
Very good unit with its own trigger which all worked well.
