Has anyone used the Godox Multi Softbox with other brands of Speedlights.
Looks to be a nice variety of modifiers for a very reasonable price but want to be sure it will be compatible with my Yongnuo YN560 before I commit to buy.

Doh, should have checked You Tube before posting.!

It appears to be made for the AD360 and AD180,

If I said I've got an AD360 and I wouldn't buy it, would that give you an idea as to how useful it might be?

This is a better option, will fit any speedlight, the bracket can be used for everything from a brolly to a snoot to an octobox, the softbox is a decent size and has a deep lip making it suitable for feathering light.

Thanks Phil, I have a generic softbox already but was looking to get a grid for it and saw this as an alternative . I'll check out the one you linked.

Just as an aside, would you recommend the AD180/360?

There's a version of the box I linked with a grid, it's not too common, but it crops up.

Yes I'd recommend the AD360, the 180 isn't enough of an improvement on a speedlight to me,

I've got one and I've used it a few times, it's a bit on the small size for what it's supposed to do but it comes in handy for portability at events and shows.

It is actually not a bad piece of kit but only designed for the 360/180

For a normal speed gun this is a much better choice, it will actually work with it.

A simple question, if I went for the 60 x 60 version is it a fairly standard size thread to screw in a handle e.g an extendable painter's pole. You can see I'm on an economy drive as the new year approaches !!!

You need an adapter to go on the end of the painters pole etc such as

and then just about any lighting set up can be achieved but included in the kit Phil linked to is the adapter that goes on that meaning you ca use any Bowens S lighting gear

I've got the godox one and have used it with my atom 180, but it won't work with a standard speed light due to the connector that's on it.
I've been surprised by the results, given that it's not that big. It is extremely light, portable and takes seconds to set up and attach.

What he said ;)

Though you can also get a spigot with a tripod bush, to attach it to a monopod or tripod.
