Most of my PCs run linux, can I ask what software people use on unixy systems?
Prefer open source (ie free).

I know of gimp although I've never used it and I've heard mention of Krita(?).

Is there anything else I should look at?

thanks

I've only ever used GIMP! It is quie complicated, but probably not as powerful as photoshop.

Hmmm I feel your pain. Unfortunately there isn't much in the way of photo software for linux. There is always Bibble and Picassa but nothing really seems to do colour management properly.

I ended up getting a Mac in the end for my photos, at least it's still slightly unixey...

I have to struggle with Gimp at work its the only thing I've found that does anything
like what Photoshop does

Have you tried Lightzone.....it was free but I am not to sure now???

Thanks Guys, gimp it is then.

Lightzone seems to have a 30day trial, then its £110 :(
