Thought I'd say hello. I've been recommended to the Forum by someone I spoke to yesterday, so thought I'd join in. I've been taking pictures since my dad gave me a Kodak Brownie for my 7th birthday, which was a long, long time ago. I progressed to a Cosmic 35, a Voigtlander Vito B and a Praktica L before buying my first Canon (Ftb) when I was about 15. I've been a Canon user ever since, but recently bought a Fuji X-T1, so am now in the process of selling my EOS5D Mk2 to fund a couple of lenses and complete the conversion from a DSLR user to a CSC user. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's quite a strong & active contingent of TP members that use the X-T1 and all the other Fuji-X cameras on the forums. Would be well worth you taking a look it's under the "Talk Equipment" section.

I still have the 50+ year old Kodak Brownie that was my father's and wondered the other day whether it could still manage a snap or two if I find some suitable film (re-wound 120 onto a 620 spool) and a willing processor. (Yes I know its possible, but not as straightforward as it was). Must give it a go one day.
 
Thanks for the welcome, folks. George, I've already had a mooch on the X-T1 thread in the Talk Equipment section and have largely been reassured by reading some posts that my decision to swap from a Canon FF DSLR to the Fuji is not a bad one.
