In her teens, this lady was skint so posed for topless photos to earn a few quid. Now she's in the public eye, a national newspaper has launched a hunt for the photos. One has to ask why they want them - they can't publish them since she was only 15 when they were taken. She's also admitted the fact that they exist (or did!) so there's no point in holding her to ransom over them. Maybe the editor who launched the hunt likes young girls' topless pics?

It has every bearing on this thread. The Honorable Ms de Piero apparently posed for topless photographs in her teens. Was she 15 or was she older? I have absolutely no interest in seeing the shots, but - possibly - what a clever way of closing down the political embarrassment for her!

Topless photos OMG shock horror, would anyone give a monkey's these days that a young woman posed topless. In years gone by it might have embarrased her so she could potentially have been blackmailed, much in the same way a gay male could have been blackmailed, these days no chance, so no point in going after that story in my view.

How many people had ever heard of her, before she staged this publicity stunt by 'revealing all' and asking for understanding, because she wanted to buy clothes like her friends, and posing for topless photographs said "something about poverty and growing up in poverty”?

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy's wife, Carla Bruni, is internationally well known and she's pretty nonchalant about her somewhat racier past, including a nude photograph taken in her modelling days. It doesn't seem to have done her, or her husband, any harm at all.
