Afternoon folks

Thinking of taking a trip up to Glencoe tomorrow with my new set of Cokin filters, looks like there has been a huge dump of snow in the last few days! Is it worth going in these conditions? Weather report looks good for at least 3 hours but don't want to make the journey if the snow makes it pointless! Any location tips to make good use of the winter conditions or tips for the journey?

Glencoe is stunning when it snows. look on the map for Glen Etive which is a left turn off the main road at Rannock moor, go down to the bridge park up and fill your boots. try and get there for sun rise

I was up Glencoe yesterday.
Glen Etive was stunning.
We went right to the end of the Glen, and parked at the loch.

Is that the first small bridge just as you turn off the road around 1000m down the road that is surrounded by trees? ( can't really tell on google maps ) or the one alot further down that is alot more open to see?

Yep - little car park on the left just before the bridge over the River Coupall. Space for about 3 or 4 cars.

It's the normal 'pull up and walk a hundred yards' spot for Buachaille Etive Mor shots.

I'll may pop over to Glen Coe tomorrow although I'll probably be watching football.

It's been snowing on and off for most of this afternoon but it's not bad.

Should also mention - there's a new car park directly off the A82. On the left just after the Glen Etive junction. It will be handy when we have snow as the Glen Etive road can sometimes be snowed up whilst the A82 is ploughed..........
