Glass v Body ? Entertaining video :-)

4.20min...lol
Essence of man

I really really want to slap that guy :bat:

me too, I cant figure out if he actually picked up his accent living in the UK, or learnt it on the net!

Me too. His presenting is really annoying.

I think it's meant to be like that...just like the Nikon strap on the 1D and the Nikon t-shirt ;)

I have watched alot of Kai's reviews , sadly he is a Nikon Man but most of his reviews are funny but honest :)

I think his presenting style is meant to be somewhat annoying, but in a funny way :D I've watched a few of his videos in the past

I really like Kai - he does some funny vids and despite taking the p.ss out of most of us - he's clued up. Certainly a refreshing change from all the serious alternatives.

I'd imagine he learnt his English (and mannerisms) after being sent to school in the UK.

Haha, you can almost smell his fishy fingers!!

I do keep an eye out for Kai's videos, they are always worth a watch.
I think of him as the Jeremy Clarkson of the camera world. Instead of "Powwwer !!!", it's "Burrrst Rate !!!".

The two parter he did on destructing testing a Canon and a Nikon is worth a look, especially the final images. Put a hole right through the Canon's front lens element (hammering in nails), and it still took reasonable photographs (considering).

He deserves a slap just for waving a camera around without a lens on it - or a body cap. :cuckoo: (00:42).

Most of the videos he does are pretty funny to be honest and this one proves the point.

Spend your money on glass before getting a mid-range body, even the most basic dSLR can produce excellent results paired with good glass.

Can't see anyone buying a 1D or D3 as their first dSLR but unless you need the features of even the mid-range bodies there is no reason to go there.

I suppose the info thats in the videos is quite useful and each to their own with regards to presenting style, having never seen the guy before i'm now eternally grateful to the op for posting this as i can know avoid anything that may involve kai. God i must be gettin old.

Worth watching the bit where he takes the Canon into the Canon head office and asks for a quote to repare it.
"I um, er dropped it and it bounced into the Bar-B-Que .... um yes. it does also appear to have some water damage as well ... " :D

Ironic really, and perfect timing. For ages ive been considering upgrading my 500D for a 7D...but i wouldnt be able to afford new lenses. Have decided (in the last few days) to keep the 500 for now and invest in some L series glass. I guess I got that the right way roud then

Yup...

Exactly why I posted it...

A good message, even if you don't like his style....

He is a little :cuckoo: but the content is good.

Great video.never seen any before but will watch the others in the future. Thanks for the links

I think he's pretty funny to be honest, I do find myself laughing through his videos, and his presentation style is amusing - looks like he's one step away from cracking up with laughter most of the time

Lovin' tha' Nikon strap!

Nice scuff and dent on the front of the 24-70 as you can see at the end of the pro lens part!

I'm confused about this video, half the time I found myself giggling, and the other half wanting to whack him round the head :D

I did like the "phwoar, 10 frames per second BURST........it's a MAN'S camera"
