Here is my quick attempt
I removed the glare by cloning in multipy blend mode at a low opacity of 10-15%
I also di a little selective sharpening of the eyes.
The skin tone needs a little more work but as I said this was just a quick attempt.

That's much better thank you, How did you get rid of the glaire and darken the skin tone

Cheers Aaron

Thanks

I’m sure someone will be along with a much better image than my attempt.

The glare was removed by

• Selecting the cloning tool
• Change the cloning tools bending mode to Multiply
• Change the opacity of the cloning tool to 10-15%
• Create a new empty layer
• Select Aligned Sample & All Layers from the cloning tool options
• Select the empty layer in the layers palette
• Press Alt to select an area you want to clone from (brush size was about the same size as the pupil)
• Clone over the blown out areas carefully. Press CTRL ALT & Z to undo any mistakes.

Colour was changed by adjusting individual colours in a curves adjustment layer.

Eyes were sharpened with a High Pass Sharpening then I used an Inverted Layer mask to add the sharpening to the eyes.

Hope some of that makes some sense.

Yes thank you it does make sense its just the donut operator that cant do it lol. I still cant seem to loose the glaire :( Ill keep trying and see how it goes.

thank you again
