Anyone used or using the Giottos Screen Protector , is it better than the nikon plastic screen protector..

I use the GGS ones that are almost identical and IMO yes they are, I have yet to scratch one!

I bought the Giottos one for my D300s but it only came with the main screen protector - not one for the top plate LCD.

The GGS ones (I get mine here) come with protectors for both screens for less than a tenner :thumbs:

Had one for all Nikon bodies from the D40 right thru to my current D700 including the small top lcd screen....

Even have one fitted to my SB600 :thinking: Mmmmm thats rarer than rocking horese crap :lol: (mainly as I havent seen a GGS screen for it since)

Get one form Simon at crookedimaging.... He's has the two lcd GGS protector screens for £14.99 & is also great fella as well - totally helpfull :thumbs:
 
Thanks all, I have the original plastic and its getting ready for new one , but was looking at alternative. with your replies this looks to be a good move....

In addtion to my first question, can some one tell me how they are fitted, i.e. Glued etc.

Self adhesive - they have thin strips around the edge of the protector, just remove the backing and stick :thumbs:
 
Plus make sure that you clean your lcd screen before plonking them on...

Also the Nikon protector wont fit once these have been fitted -just thought I'd mention that just incase :naughty:
