**update on my order experience** Thumbs down to Calumet!!
I orderd Saturday, got an email confirmation to say payment had been received, then nothing, as it was "plenty off stock" on saturday and shifted to "low stock on sunday" have been keeping an eye on my order to make sure the shipping staus changed from "to be shipped" It hasnt, right at this minute my shipping status is "to be shipped" HOWEVER.....I called to find out why it hadn't been shipped yesterday etc, was told it HAD been shipped and will "probably" be delivered today......
Not bought a lot from calumet and probably now I know why, with a little gentle persuasion I asked the girl to find me the tracker number to assure me it was out for delivery today, she did and my monopod is 5 miles away and will be delivered in the next hour or so.
My point and gripe is, had the Calumet system shown "shipped" and "tracker number", I would not have had to waste time mine and theirs calling them.....
Sort your system out calumet, it doesnt really matter its a £17 monopod, it could have been a d3x, however there is no danger I would trust you to deal with that.
in complete contrast from probably a smaller company I..... am also expecting a new laser printer today, bought through daily deals at flebay, got an email at 8.00 am this morning saying order is out for delivery today, tracker click to track AND AND AND an estimated time of delivery between 12 & 1 today. Sales is not about taking an order, its about delivering on the order, the flebay company have in my eyes provided the service that is really expected & needed in this day an age.
Rant over LOL, feel better now it's out.................where was I, oh yeah EDITING aarrgghh
