Gigapixel image of the stars

That is pretty damn stunning! Cant get my head around how it was done though.
 
That is even more clever than floating a camera in space! :)

And there was me thinking the one I seen of London was good!

This one looks good, but unfortunately I don't have the required internet speed to load the image quickly enough if I want to have a good nosey about.
 
Yeah, I really like that.

I've seen a handful of photographs like this, and they never fail to impress me. Saw one from the top of a building in Dubai (I think), and that was amazing too. So much detail, you could stare at it for hours and still find new things in it!

I'll admit I wasn't really reading titles or post content before I clicked that link... image loaded and I thought "hey, thats really good... whats those buttons? *zoom/pan* whoa!"

It's next to Sextans, by the green line, just looks like a bright light.
 
Damn... It's even got simulated lens flare from the sun, if you centre the view on it.
