I'd been talking about buying one of these in a thread I can't find, someone was suggesting there might be problems with the colour pixel order being BGR instead of RBG. Now I have it set up & have also worked through the cleartype setup,& now calibration, I can honestly say it's good for me. I've set it up next to the previous Dell U2412M, and I can see the colours are cleaner and more natural, blacks a little deeper, it's all just a bit nicer than before. The older Dell never did do very deep blacks (heavily matted screen, IPS backlight bleed) and this does better blacks too. Text is crisper than on the generic 1080P Dell IPS units at work.
Just make sure you get a good panel, because there have been some reports of stuck pixels and excessive backlight bleed, seen as an orange glow in dark areas near the bottom of the screen.
