Yes
went to a gig last night with four bands on.
aprox four hours of gigging.
i manged to fill three gig (no pun intended) of cards, and put 6 pics on another.
something like 750 shots.
crikey.
do you lot get "carried away" at gigs, trying to get good shots?

i used to fill a half gig card in about 3 songs and then leave the pit and empty a pint glass when i used to do gigs. i guess its because you only have a few minutes to perform and you dont want to miss a cracking shot

i,m lucky, i get on well with the venue owner, and its a little bijou clubette.
i can crawl up the performers noses, on stage, and pretty much anywhere i want.
great fun, but i do hammer away like crazy, trying to work round the lighting and stuff.
its REALY dark in there, and the lighting rig is on and off like a mental thing.
and i forgot to put my earplugs in (again).
my ears are still ringing.
its LLOOUUDD.
oh, its the club kevs putting the two day charity gig on in feb.(see my other post).

i used to be in the same boat with a venue owner, could do what the **** i wanted (photography or just pouring pints over friends heads) was very useful when they had big bands in.

i never wore ear plugs though and wish i had now!

i been at it most of the afternoon. sorting, and deleting old stuff from my hard drive.
and looking through last nights efforts.
fortunately , i'm realy pleased with some of the shots i got yesterday.
yeah, the clubs owner is a nice guy, and has some interest in photography .
i give him a few shots for his myspace/website, he lets me in for nowt, and lets me have pretty much, free run of the place.
