getty images and copyright

"I represent over 850 businesses in claims brought against them by Getty Images for alleged infringement of one or two digital images from their massive stock photo library".

So he is happy the photographer won against the party that used the images without permission, yet he represent people who allegedly did the same.....unless I am missing something surely this is just more precedent AGAINST his own cases?

(on a side note I really struggle to see how the size of Getty's library is relevant in that quoted sentence).

small changes have been made over the weekend, images now show photographers name and there is a link to the getty license page for every image.. still no clarification over restriction on downloading and image use..

lots unhappy that as it stands it seems anyone can now download high res versions of their images for free.. esp MR photos of kids / family

awaiting news from getty!
