Hi everyone
Totally new here so apologies if this isn’t the right place for this.
I recently got married and my sister took loads of photos of the wedding. Some of which we would love to get edited ( some would look better in black and white, others need touching up slightly)
I don’t have the time or experience to edit them all so my question is where can I find someone to edit them for me?
Is there anything I should be aware of when sending photos over or things I should be on the look out for?
Any advice would be great
Cheers

Congratulations!
First thing to do is make a back up, or two, of all the images should anything happen to the originals.
You might get a better answer if you give a rough idea of your location as there might be someone local.
Would you be comfortable having someone online do the edits?

ongrats on getting married. Getting someone else to edit may not be good ideal as they may get the colours wrong, not being there at the time . i would suggest getting an editing suite and have a go yourself, you might enjy doing it

Thabkyou.
I have in the past but only for landscape and travel photography that I have done.
It’s more my lack of time right now.

Whereabouts in the country are you? You May strike lucky and get some help from a forum member?

Maybe an idea of the number of shots to be done might help?

Oh, and congratulations Chris :D

Lack of time could indicate a large number of photos, which might well lead to a large cost.
Might well find some one willing to do a few for free, but unlikely a huge job.

If they were all of similar exposure / colour correction needed, batch processing might help or be acceptable, and auto colour / exposure correction may give OK results, but what happens if the results look right to the person processing them, but not to you?

Yeah they are all over the place. Different exposures as inside and out so batch processing will be out.
I think I will just have to go through them slowly

That would probably be the best way, you will get the results you want, also I got a surprise the other day to find garages were charging £80+ an hour, I don't see photo editing being any less :)
