Getting ready for the olympics

RTM'd to get it removed.

Its been moved to OOF now

Im sick of hearing about it to be honest  :suspect:

fed up of it taking over the news, TV, radio, cant get away from the damn Olympics its Olympics Olympics Olympics Olympics Olympics Olympics Olympics Olympics :bang::bang::bang:

I'm pretty indifferent. Don't know whether it's because we live in rural Scotland, and this seems to be a 'London' event, but I got far more enthusiastic about the 2010 World Cup when we lived in Joburg, and I don't even like football!

Booooored....and it's not even started yet.

and this seems to be a 'London' event

I'm not surprised, since it's called the "London 2012 Olympics"!!

Personally, I couldn't give a monkeys either way.....I wouldn't miss it if it wasn't happening but I might watch a few of the events on TV if there's not much else on.

I'm more worried about what the traffic is going to be like on Friday evening (opening ceremony).....I'm shooting a wedding down there on Saturday and getting to my hotel could be fun!! :help:

The only things that interests are the various cycling disciplines. I much prefer the Winter Olympics.

London Olympics

Says it all to me.

Not interested but for those that are I hope they are great and up to par.

Personally as a Northener through and through I'm fed up of living in a country that thinks life stops at Watford gap.

Lots of Monday morning misery around......
What would it be like if there was no sun heaven knows!

I love the TFL posters they have round here, advising that there will be major disruption to the traffic due to the Olympics - cheers,I'll bear that in mind if I'm driving past Hampden when the Women's football, or whatever nonsense it is, is on and all 3 people that have bought tickets are queuing to get in.....

Im sure most of the chavs around london will be having their own version of the events. 100m handbag snatch, 200m garden fence hurdles, The four man asda trolley dash etc

Busy trying to figure out how to schedule my TV & radio viewing and listening routine so as to hear as little about them as I can possible manage.

As a guide, it'll be about as busy as Ibrox will be next season :D

Your welcome to it, I'd much rather we didn't have it. They've had to renew the barriers on our car park at work to prevent people from leaving their cars their for free, then catching a train the rest of the way.
Only bit of the Olympics I'll probably watch, or record at least, is the closing ceremony as my mate is taking part. Only bit I would like to have seen is the womens hurdles but sadly my main point of interest isn't competeing.
