Congrats, hope your day will be as wonderful as mine will be :)

Congrats to you both and I hope you have better luck than me!

I'm 26 and getting divorced :D

:woot: I bet your stomach is topsy turvy right now, and every time you think about Saturday. It's a great feeling.

Things to look forward to:

The same feeling for a few weeks at least, when you call or hear someone else call your wife Mrs Stebbings :D

You, or someone else refers to Jen as your wife :D

Your wedding night ... Try not to drink too much. The passion on that night is something else if you can make sure you're not too drunk or worn out to even think about it. It's definitely worth making it happen, trust me ;)

The first bits of mail to drop through your letter box addressed to Mr & Mrs!

Looking down at your wedding band for weeks to come and remembering what happened, and all the magic you felt on the big day

Of course all those things wear off eventually  But enjoy them while it lasts.

I hope you have a wonderful day come Saturday. Where abouts are you getting married?

Congratulations. I'm 32 and been married going on 9 years now.

Looking down at your wedding band for weeks to come and remembering what happened, and all the magic you felt on the big day  I do that with my engagement ring already

Awww, you're welcome . We kept a couple of those first envelopes in our wedding box too  We even kept the fake rose petals and confetti that Chris had scattered on our bed in the honeymoon suite (as well as the deflated balloons :$).

That's something to consider btw ... Chris did that for me and also had the hotel put a bottle of my favourite drink in an ice bucket in our room for when we went up. He thought of a few nice little surprises that day that really got me in the mood ;)

Hope you have a wonderful day on Saturday. Where are you going on honeymoon?

Congratulations to you both! I hope you have many happy years together.

I was wondering if some of us TP'ers could come along to brush up on our Wedding Photography skills, you know so we can then start our own Wedding Photo business in the future.;) :p

was a lovely day it was, congrats to mike and jen and im sure they'll have a wonderful honeymoon

Congratulations. Enjoy the day and try to relax, that´s the most important thing.

We got married 4years ago. In April 2005 I ran my first marathon and behind the finish line I asked my girlfriend if she wanted to marry me. We got married in august then in the pilsumer lighthouse
It was a small wedding, just our families and a few friends but it was perfect. The weather was good, warm and sunny. Lateron we went to my grandparents in a ostfrisian village and had a big dinner there.
I´m not emotional that much but that was my happiest day in my whole life.
Will think of you too on saturday.

( actually, when I look at our weeding photos it always reminds me of how slim I was back then... )

And i'm back.

Thanks for all the kind words.

It was a great day, and the honeymoon was amazing :)

Ladysue - Do you know where they stayed?

This married life lark is easy, dont get why people get so worked up over it! :D
