Getting blank green screen on videos

Can someone please help with this, when i'm trying to view videos on my PC (ie tutorials or you tube videos) sometimes i am getting a blank green screen with just the sound, this has only recently started happening and only since i got windows 7, never ever had the problem on XP. I'm guessing that it is probably something just blocking certain video's but can't find what, if anyone knows of a fix could you let me know, many thanks.
 
Do you have the latest flash player installed?

Also try this: Go to YouTube, start a video up and then pause it, next right click and select settings, next de-select Enable hardware acceleration, restart your browser and load up another YouTube video to see if your problem is resolved.
