Hello All,
I have always been interested in art and visual images. Back in the 80's I had my own darkroom and enjoyed imaged manipulation after spending hours setting up photographs or waiting for the sun yo come etc. For me the image was the most important thing but had a few conventional SLRs (Nikon / Bronica).
I have never lost my love for images and photography but all that has been put on hold for the last 20 years. I have to be honest with you that when digital photography first came on the market I wasn't convinced it was a good thing.
That said, I have seen the quality and functionality of cameras improve and have watched the market with interest to the point where I am now convinced that it's acutely better than conventional (wet process)photography.
Im now looking to replace my aged Nikon FM2 and lenses with probably another Nikon DSLR in the near future. I found this site by chance whilst looking for reviews etc and it's really good so I thought I would sign up.
Anyway, I hope to re-kindle all those good memories of getting up early and finding that perfect sunrise very soon.
