Hello all, long time no post!

I haven't done a great deal of photography for nearly two years now, but a work colleague has pursuaded me to once again pick up the camera and get back into it.

I used to post here and ask the odd question, so I thought I'd come back and say hello again :D

Hello again. :)

Hope you're enjoying the relapse. ;)

Hello dazzajl :)

Well there's nothing quite like the purchase of a new lens to get you started, replaced my standard 18-70 kit len with a Sigma 18-200 with optical stabiliser last weekend

:welcome: back to the nut house

Glad to hear you've got the bug back again ;)

I thought I'd give it another go! just need to get my PC sorted out for the post-processing, had to re-load it and need to get some new software. I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 3 from years ago but it's not exavtly brilliant :gag:

Amazon are doing Elements 6 for £49.97 at the moment :)

That's what I had my eye on originally, but a quick look at Adobes web site tells me version 7 is just around the corner so might wait for that.

I've always shot in RAW before, and Elements did me ok in the past, Photoshop is just too expensive and overcomplicated for my current level of skill, debated Lightroom in the past but not too sure :)
