Yes
Might be some thunderstorms in the south east (evening/tonight) , so get those camera's ready just incase.

:)

Am polishing the lens on my camera and recharging battey in readiness as I speak. :D
Here's hoping for my first proper forked lighting capture, as long as it doesn't occur TOO late in the night! (gotta be at work by 5 am tomorrow!)

 My husband's gone to Lingfield for the horse racing so I hope he doesn't get too wet.

I love thunderstorms though but doubt I'll get the camera out as we are surrounded by trees, best place to get the lightening is up the rugby club but it means driving up there and I don't feel like walking anywhere let alone driving:(

LIGHTNING!!!!!! , flashing to my south/south east!!!... Has gone really muggy too :D

Needs to be closer than this for photography though

Still nothing here, they were forecast but haven't materialised yet, I'm off to bed if nothing happens soon!

That was a bit of a damp squib then!!

Saw lots of bright flashes but no lightning, bit too far away for me.

Being AM it's directional so you'll pick up the clicks of the strikes if you tune in on them ...the louder the click the closer you are to the location of the strike ... Turning the radio will give you the direction too.

Its really just great excuse to waste hours and hours rushing around the country side on my motorbike. :D

:D

Out of the dozen or so shots, I only managed to get this one, and even then it's nothing to shout about.

And yes, every time I was fiddling about with the camera getting it set up for the next long exposure shot, a brilliant anvil crawler forked lightning occured. Aaaaaargh!
Oh well, next please! Better luck next time, but all good practist for me!
