Get a grip!

I was just pondering about when you buy a new grip from Nikon. Are they kind enough to include a battery with it, or is it just the grip?

I have never purchased a battery grip(Olympus, Nikon and Canon) that has come with a battery... although I do remember Jacobs(RIP) once doing a promotion where you could buy a battery half price with grip..

so I would say no.

I've had few, never bought a new one, checked around on-line but I can't see the genuine ones being sold with battery, the 3rd party ones usually come with 1

All the grips I have purchased previously (Canon) are just the Grip, not an additional battery unfortunately...

Hanhel usually supply a battery! But not Nikon sadly:arghh:

What nikon do you have? MPB had an EN-EL15 battery for £19 the other day. It's used but should be ok. Do you know you can use your battery in the grip rather than the camera? It makes changing it to charge much easier than removing the grip all the time.
