Just a quick note to say hello and forewarn you all of my chronic lack of knowledge!

I've been interested in photography for a number of years now but have only just decided to start taking it seriously. I currently have a pants Kodak P&S and I'm saving my hard earned sheckels for either an EOS 20D, a D200 or Canon's reply to the D200.

In the meantime I'm learning photo manipulation in CS2 and doing lots of reading!

I'll be asking forum members to re-manipulate photos I upload to show me better ways of doing things in Shop, if that's OK? Seems the best way forward until I get a DSLR.

Currently living in New Zealand, having left Blighty in April of last year.

I am glad you managed to sort out the account :)

With regard to posting photos for manipulation, thats fine, I would do just one or two at a time though and explain what you were trying to acheive and what you have already done, then the members will be able to approach the photo with that in mind.

Hi there - I'm sooo jealous of you being in NZ :sulk: I hope to move there one day!
Anyhow, welcome to the forums - I've only been here a few days myself, and have picked up loads of excellent tips. Don't worry about not knowing much - I'm in the same boat :)
