Hello all,
About time I introduced myself. Just wanted to say hello, I've lurked for a week or two trying to decide what DSLR to buy.
Got to say I've read and read about what camera to get, what to look for, lenses etc... And this forum has too much damn information on it! Was more confused than when I started. :shrug:
So I ended up with Nikon D1x after putting in a speculative bid on eBay
What a great camera, screen a little small but really well built and it came with a 70-200 Sigma 4.0/5.6 zoom, a very average lens to you guys I'm sure, but good enough for me.
A step up from the Yashica and then 35mm Nikon F601 that I had with a couple of point and shoots to fill in the gap.
Looks a great forum with a good friendly attitude. I look forward to annoying you with basic questions!!
