so on the decking in the garden I have a gazebo frame (metal).
Very similar to this thing;
Problem now is, because there is no central support from the middle of the cross bar to the roof and with all the recent rain, the plastic brackets broke at the center of the cross bar. I fixed it on one side but then it did it again on another, so its a bit of a sorry state but the Mrs wants to rescue the thing and me fix it.
I was thinking of cutting some ply to each of the 4 segments of the roof, attached with industrial cable ties and then nail the old canvas roof to it and put a vent hole in the top to help with the wind.
my plan B would be to cut my losses and buy a new one but I would like it all year round...
