Does anyone have one of these? Link to importer's website

I was thinking of getting one for a wedding I have lined up in a few weeks. It looks better than the cheap snap-on diffusers you can get from Jessops etc., but I was wondering how much power they soak up - could I use one to shoot a large group? They come in two versions - clear and 'cloud' (opaque).

TIA :)

I have one and will do a comparison test for you later this morning.

I like the look of the collapsible one, but £55 ??!

This is no coincidence or accident, Mr Fong. ;)

I think there are videos on youtube which will tell you how much power it takes.
My only worry would be the attention it gets.

I think they are rubbish. The Demb flip-it's a much better option in my opinion.

For group shots outdoors the Lightsphere will make life difficult. Light from the flash goes everywhere and not much in the direction you want. You'd be better off shooting bare flash outdoors than using a lightsphere.

Indoors the lightsphere can help to add flash to the ambient lighting, but again, they are so unwieldly.

My advice - the top product from this list:-
