Gary Fong Lightsphere

I think so, it can't perform the miracles that they claim it can but it does out perform any other small clip-on unit I've seen.

You mean this Thread Peter ... ... seems a great bit of kit and comes highly recommended as well as cheapest from Kerso ... :D

Also another link within the thread to give you more of an insight ...

:p

I love the results I get with mine. The shadows are softer than with a Sto-fen but you can sometimes get shadows in portrait. When it works, which is quite often, the results are lovely. Bright perfectly exposed images with lovely catch-lights.

I like mine as well, took a bit of getting used to but the results are much better than with a Stofen or similar.

I like mine too and was the very first person to acquire one from Ian Kerr. :)

This was taken with a fong. Without the diffuser lighting would have been much harsher.

Another vote here for the Fong - it's the bizzo.:)

Been meaning to mention on here for a while that they do an orange top for them now too. Really quite good when shooting in predominantly tungsten lighting.

I have the stofens.. happy with them but would try out the lightsphere. Not a priority though as the stofens do me well.

have a sto-fen too..... Just prefer the LSII.
