A good take on the theme Gary. It's odd how stuff like Himalayan Balsam and Bindweed have such pretty flowers but are such trouble.

Unsightly and Pretty: two things I dislike intensely...burnouts on grass and Himalayan Balsam...good shots though...

the marks on the grass caused by council building an artificial cricket wicket, which to my knowledge hasn’t been used yet

I have lived round here for about 10 years and I think they’ve been there all this time. Maybe the owner of the house has no idea as to what they would have been worth
 
This made me smile. We have a similar property not too far away.

Well done with the balsam, you managed to hit two themes with one shot.
I had the same idea for windows but couldn't quite pull it off, so glad I did something else now.
 
Only a very few left. I would have been tempted to crop the right hand rogue bale out as it is slightly distracting.

Thanks Dave, it’s a while since I’ve been that way on my afternoon walk, it was a nice surprise
gave me a chance to test my new to me xc16-50 fuji lens
