Morning,

Have just purchased a Keter Garden shed and looking for lighting options. There is no power to the shed so will be looking for either a solar powered or battery powered lights for both inside and outside.

At present looking Mr Beams MB990 for the inside and two Mpow ones like these:

Anything else to you can suggest to add to the list to look into.

Use Mr Beams as our porch light, seeing this has made me think when I last changed the battery. Certainly over a year ago. I think they are one of those products that just seem to work.
 
I bought some 7dayshop outdoor solar units several years ago and they're still going well. The solar panels have gone a bit cloudy so I've polished one of them up with Autosol which has cleared it up a treat! Got them set for movement. Got some Lidl solar strings too. You'd probably want to rig the panels up to a battery/light/sensor pack inside the shed since they're more for decoration than illumination.
 
Thank you both for replying. I have ordered a mr beams light for the inside.

Now on the hunt for some for the outside, look at the solar ones for this I think.
 
The ones I have are branded Baxia and I'm pretty sure they came from 7dayshop (but it might have been Amazon.)

Not ordered the solar light so cannot provide an update. The Mr Beams on had just been delivered to so will try and get it setup at the weekend and post back.
 
These were taken with my phone and edited as close to how I think they are for brightness.

The photos are still probably a fraction lighter than actual but they do a great job.

Hard to compare, the newer ones like the one linked have much smaller leds, the small ones I have(new type) are 140 leds and give off a lot less light than my older 20 led lights.

TBH, as long as the light unit gives you enough light to see what you need to, the job's a good'un. Reading a combination might need more light than inserting a key into a (pad)lock but even a small 1 LED torch gives enough illumination for most tasks (if it's close enough!)
