In Jan I'll be moving into my first house which has a single garage built in. I'm toying with the idea of making the garage into a studio. I was wondering if anyone has a studio set-up in their garage and if so can you please post up some photo's so I can take inspiration or just give ideas etc.

That certainly looks like an interesting thread. I was thinking of painting the walls and floor white. It makes so much sense to go matt black now I've seen it. These are the sort of ideas I need.

I've had a good idea for some wall mounted flash heads and also a ceiling mounted background flash.

How high is the ceiling in the space?

I don't think you want to wall mount your flashes unless you're going to shoot with the same setup all the time?

In this thread from a US forum, there are some superb 3/4 shots coming out of a 8 x 10 workspace (but it is 10 foot high).

The ceiling is only standard height so around 8ft at a guess. I was thinking to wall mount the flashes and put them on stands if I decide they need moving.
