Gallery opinions required

Could I ask that you have a look at a new gallery I'm thinking of adopting and see if you like it better than the existing one....

Comments on speed to load etc are welcome and if it displays on different browsers (I use Safari)

I gave up on the original loading, was taking ages, unless thats just my connection? :)

Hmmm, same goes with the newer gallery? I am using IE.
 
All works well for me on Safari. I prefer the new one, as I like having control over slideshows. The slider function is neat too. :D
 
I'm on firefox and got to agree on the new one being better, the scroll bar feature works well.

Thanks - did it fill the white part of the screen - i.e look balanced
 
Just for your info the new gallery works and looks fine on Safari.
It actually looks like a Mac OS gallery the way it flows and makes the images enlarge as you get to it, a bit like the magnifier on the dock (if you know mac then you will know what i mean).

All the same, it looks good :-)

If you mean which one am I using to view your site Simon... it's Firefox 3 on a Mac. Hope that helps.
 
I like the scroll feature on the first wedding gallery but it appears to be missing on the second wedding gallery and the canine and equine galleries. I also noticed the canine and equine galleries are to the right of the browser and the black border is a different size/location to the wedding galleries.

Nice looking site and I'm using IE7.

It's only on the first gallery ..... the others are the original ones

As you're dealing in weddings - from a clients point of view do you think the first is more professional and sharper - if you see what I mean
 
The new one definitely - I could control what I saw. Cool
 
First off the "E" in Revill in your header is looks like and upside down F, i can't see the top line, which may be just me or Firefox.

Right back to your question:

Really impressed by the new gallery slideshow facility, looks good and is great to have control like that, but if you really feel the old one is better for displaying your shots why not give the option to view as slideshow a simple play button or maybe after clicking on an individual image.

Just a thought and hope it helps.
