Looking to get a new paper for black and white printing mainly and like the results that Ilford's Galerie Gold Fibre give with my printer (Epson R1900). The only issue I have is that it is not as white as I would ideally like, so wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

I like the Innova Smooth Cotton High White papers, it not a glossy paper but B+W's look really good.

Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl is similar to GFS, but does have a whiter base. The Ilford product looks yellow by comparison. The surface is slightly different, the Hahnemuhle has slightly more character to it , whilst the Ilford product is a bit smoother. They are both papers I like and to be honest I can't say which I really prefer. There is also a "Feel" difference between the two again, pro's and cons. Try a trial pack with the Fine Art Pearl in and see which you prefer. But its not the easiest paper to source

Innova art papers are pretty white and there is also epsons traditional paper too

Paper being white means they have OABs
