About to bite the bullet on a panasonic fz38 but curious to know if anyone has used one of these and also a g11..I really like the look of the g11,flip out screen etc but this really is just a short term fix whilst I get funds together and replace my dslr kit.Is the G11 really worth the extra or will image quality be pretty similar..not fussed about low light and I can live without the hotshoe for a few months.Have read plenty of reviews etc but would be nice to hear from anyone that has used both and could comment on pros and cons of either.:thumbs:
 
I don't know that Panasonic but the price isn't much short of the LX3, how about an LX3?
 
The lx3 looks great but hasnt the zoom that I would need.Tbh I also like the larger size of the fz coming from dslr land.(Although small in comparison)
 
Thanks for that mate..someone also recommended the fuji s200exr,looks a nice size and impressive features.
 
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo the S100fs is the one to have! tilting screen and feels like a dslr to handle (the S200exr has lost the tilting screen )
 
:lol: Aside from the tilting screen is there much difference?
