Image 1 - Accommodation........
One of my cats is spoilt beyond belief......this is her kennel during the snow which she guards.....inside is underlay, carpet, a heated pad and three blankets......oh and a cat flap mounted where the entrance is.....hell I would even like being in there if I would fit

I'm still very new to this sort of thing, so I'm uncertain how helpful I can be. But these challenges are fun, and I hope to participate myself. Anyway:
1. I like the angle/perspective - it looks very cosy amongst all that snow!
2. The photo looks a little dark, but that could be my laptop.
3. I don't know if cropping or cloning out the snow particles would be a worthwhile improvement - to me, the larger specks look like some sort of u.f.o phenomena!

Hello fullfast, I like the idea very much! Your cat is very lucky!
Here's my C&C on the photo.
- I think the subject is unclear as in it doesn't stand out; it doesn't automatically draw your eyes to the kennel. I think it needs more foreground and less trees in the background.
- I also agree that the image is underexposed.
- warmer white balance may help give it a more "cosy" feel?
