Hi guys,

Quick question, when using the Full Screen Preview in Bridge CS6 the files never fully load to "full sharpness".

I was wondering if it was a loading issue, but no matter how long you leave the image on the full screen preview it doesn't completely load to full sharpness, it isn't until you open in RAW that you can see if the photo is completely sharp.

Do any of you know what could be causing this, as it would be a lot easier for culling if I could see the sharpness of the image in the full screen preview, rather than having to open the RAW file.

Many thanks,
Gary

I think you'll find that Bridge displays the images by proxy, as does Adobe InDesign. It's part of the software's architecture and is intended to make loading etc faster and more efficient. Bridge is intended to be an organiser and hub but not an individual image editor as such.

I used to pre-release test for Adobe - From the birth of CS but I stopped at CS4 as it was taking up too much of my time.

Now if I was still a tester I could ask for such a feature but I don't think that Adobe would want their architecture compromised. A user selected option perhaps?

Do the initial edit in First Pass, I have the same problem but First Pass is pin sharp straight away even on D800 files.
