Fujifilm S6500 FD. Whats it worth?

I bought this for Cayley 2 years ago and im pretty sure I paid around the £280 mark, something like that. Shes interested in seeing how much its worth, its only been used a few times as she always uses her compact and she has the box. Can anyone give me a rough idea?

Based on Ebay & what my mate paid for his,i would say somewhere
between £70 - £100

I bought a brand new s5000 for my son to learn on last month for £52 and that was a bigger bargain we had hoped for but the seller sent us a brand new s5500 even better eh but your 6500 is worth s/h roughly £60-80 good or 80 100 mint on ebay and a little more private but ebay is slightly overpriced at mo so could even see £120 if its a mint camera

It's just painful how cameras are losing there value so quickly now, just because the bloody companies are bringing a new one out every 6 months, i bought my D80 just over a year ago, £515 for the body, and just sold it on here for £300 and was nearly struggling to get that, £215 loss in just over a year is a lot to swallow as far as I'm concerned, but unfortunately that's the way of the market, good luck on selling your Fuji though.

Do yuo reckon there will ever be a point you will stop upgrading bodies? For Nikon the D3 is the best you can get most people think they would never need anything more, but in 5 years time will people be saying they aren't very good?

My D300 and 200 will do me for some time........

D3`s appear to be very good, but FF doesn`t suit my interests at the moment.
