Fujifilm GFX 50S

@Riz_Guru

Here you go 47MP MF sensor, global electronic shutter, 7fps https://www.svs-vistek.com/en/industrial-cameras/svs-camera-detail.php?id=shr47051MCL

Same sensor is available with Bayer Filter for colour option http://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/product.do?id=KAI-47051

FF/MF sensors with global shutters are already a reality, its only a matter of time before these find their way into consumer products, with even higher frame rates

:D nice! I think the problem we have at the moment is that its very hard to get both the speed and resolution within the same body, look at the Sony bodies..... we have yet to see a A9 with all its technology / speed but using a 42.2mp sensor etc.
I would like to see this gap filling in the future.

Well thats just a case of:-

1) Having sensors with enough taps that the data can be read off fast enough
2) Having fast enough processors to move that amount of data quickly (and be cool in the process - ie not run really hot, making packaging difficult)
3) Having fast enough data storage cards for this bandwidth of data (though this can be solved with large internal buffers - RAMdisk)

Next you'll want all the above and a compact battery that lasts more than 5 mins!!!
