Hi :)
this morning I tried a Fujica St605 and the shutter button remained stuck at the bottom when I pressed it, why do you think?
the camera is unloaded, in the sense that it had not been loaded to take a photo and there is no film inside.
now how can I get it to return to its position?
if you try to wind it, to load the shutter, it is not possible because it resists and I tried imagining it was stuck.

Does the camera require batteries to operate the shutter? If so, try fresh batteries.

If not, can you fire the shutter with a cable release?
at the end i have solved, pressing the botton in the button that i think is used to extract the film even before the roll is completed, i also changed the shutter speed, and "moved" the lever to load the shot, but in reality I didn't move it because it was blocked, let's say I turned it a little, but as soon as it blocked I stopped without forcing it in any way... then the shutter button went back up... so maybe when the shutter isn't loaded it's not a good idea for me to press the shutter button till the end

Don't know if you have the manual, but you can access it here: https://butkus.org/chinon/fujica/fujica_st605n/fujica_st605n.htm

Hopefully you've solved the problem & it was just 'user error' through unfamiliarity, though I can't remember ever having such an issue myself across various slrs.

A quick thought, on some of my older film cameras pressing and slightly turning the shutter button locked the shutter in the open position for manually timed exposure. Turning it back released the shutter.
